Keystone Bank is a full service commercial bank wholly owned by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) and was granted banking license on August 5, 2011, by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Bank has met and exceeded all capital and capital adequacy requirements of the CBN and assumed the deposit liabilities, certain other liabilities and assets of former Bank PHB Plc, following the revocation of the erstwhile bank's operating License by the CBN.

Keystone Bank is recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: Departmental Head, Financial Institutions

Responsibilities

• To manage all Financial Institutions relationships, grow the balance sheet and to give overall direction and supervision of the implementation of the Department’s strategies.
• Primary role is to grow the assets and liabilities of the Financial Institutions Department as defined by the Bank
• Overall responsibility for the performance of the department and its members
• Agree and set financial, business and strategic goals with the Divisional Head, Treasury and distribute same to Team Leads.
• Provide market direction and support to the Team Leads to enable them achieve set goals
• Ensure the deepening of existing customer names in the Bank’s books
• Set up new revenue streams by exploring new market niches and introducing new products
• Develop strategies to attend to customer complaints as to foster customer retention and
• attend to all correspondences pertaining to Financial Institutions
• Regularly appraise the activities and functions of the Unit and make recommendations for improvement to the Divisional Head, Treasury
• Perform other duties as assigned by DH, Treasury

Key Performance Indicators

• Revenue of the Department as measured by Fincon
• Business volume growth rate: Deposit and Loans
• Percentage [%] of variance in budgeted revenue
• Quality of credit portfolio
• Number of new Financial Institutions relationship won within the period
• Customer satisfaction index
• Numbers of Accounts lost within the period
• Numbers of complaints received on the accounts during the period
• Satisfactory Audit reports
• Zero sanctions from routine regulatory examinations, audits, spot checks

Requirements

• A good first degree in any discipline.
• Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage.
• ACCA, ICAN, CIIN, CITN and/or CFA as well as SEC Certification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of the financial markets both local/ international and the major players in the local non-bank FI space
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for non-bank financial institutions
• Strong personal relationships among financial market regulators
